Austin, Texas was Amazing
Recently I traveled out to Austin, Texas my good friend Mark Heaps and his family. Along with visiting and getting to see everyone we escaped out to Enchanted Rock near Fredericksburg, Texas to use Mark’s new camper and to see what we could do on one of the darkest nights of the month.
The first thing we did was set up our camp site and then set out to hike Enchanted Rock and the surrounding area to scout some locations. We instantly fell in love with the top of the rock and decided to set up there later that night.
Early on in the night shortly after setting up we began to see some shooting stars and I had to start snapping some shots to try to get one of them in a photo. The white streak on the right hand side is a shooting star.

This was one of my favorite shots from the night I just love the tones and color.

Here’s another one of my favorites, I waited until the Milky Way aligned perfectly with the tree on top of Enchanted Rock.
